Dr. Christopher Coy

Head of School

Head Of School

Dr. Coy brings nearly two decades of professional experience at Hyde Park to this role including his most recent service as Upper School Principal. During his tenure as Principal, he has provided an excellent level of Christ-centered leadership in building positive relationships with students, parents, and teachers.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sociology and master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamar University.  He earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Dr. Coy holds certifications as a Teacher, Principal, and Superintendent from the Texas Education Agency.

Dr. Coy and his wife, Heather, have been members of Austin Oaks Church since 2010 and enjoy teaching Sunday School every month.  Their three boys Joshua (11), Dylan (9), and Tyler (7) all attend Hyde Park Lower School.
